helping in the home

Today, more and more parents encourage their children to help maintain the family house. But, when I was a child, my parents didn't need me to help in the home, and they thought children should spend long time on studying instead of helping in the home. But, I think this is a way they can learn new practical skills. By helping in the home children can contribute to the family. Over time this activity builds pride and self-confidence. Self-confidence is one of the most important characters for a successful person. So, if a child helps in the home early, they can get more self-confidence from this activity. Moreover, having work that others are counting on teaches a child responsibility. Throughout the process, a child is building good lifelong habits like cleaning their room. I think building good lifelong habits is the most important. For example, some adults’s didn’t build a good lifelong habit so that their rooms are always messy, and they cannot control their live very well. Furthermore, they learn to manage their time. Doing chores teaches children skills and personal satisfaction. So, if I have a child, I will encourage him to help in the home because his personal skills will be trained.

My pet

I had a cute dog. Her name is Hua. Hua passed away one month ago. She had been 15 years old that equaled to 105 years old of human being.

I still remember the day Hua was born. She looked like a little mouse and cannot open her eyes by herself. Since I was 5 years old, Hua followed me every where. Hua was my best friend before I went to school. I trained her "sit", "lie down" and "stay". Hua was really smart because she learned quickly. However, since I went to school, I always ignored her. But, when I went back home, she still jumped up and wanted to play with me. My grandma told me that she always stayed in front of the door and waited for me. We went out for a walk in the park at every dusk. Sometime, she played with other dogs and became so dirty. I remember the period her molting I prohibited she come up to my bed, but I saw her big brown eyes watching me. I yielded to her and allowed her to sleep with me. The next day, I spent one hour on clean my bed. She stayed with me until I left my country.

The dark days came suddenly, when my grandma told me that Hua was blind and she always ran into walls, I cannot believe that. When she refused to eat, we were aware some bad things will happen. Although Hua left, I hoped keep Hua with me forever.

college

Today, more and more people prefer to attend college because of high competitive social environment. There are three reasons why people like to study in college that preparing for a career, having new experiences, and increasing our knowledge.

First, to prepare career has became more important after economic crisis. We know that the job market is so competitive. It is the primary reason to go to college because we can learn new skill for career with a lot of opportunities. This means careers, such as information technology, that are expected to need a large workforce in the coming years. Second, we can get new experiences from studying at college because we have chance to meet a lot of different people, and I can learn a lot of things from others. Finally, we attend colleges to expand our knowledge in subjects we find interesting. College is a good time to plan our future, and find which one is we like. Moreover, for many, this will our last chance for a long time to learn something. And I am going to focus on get new experiences and learn about myself and the world we live in the college. I hope college will be a good time for me.

My favorite team

Nowadays, the World Cup is being held in South Africa. There are thirty-two teams that came from all of the world for the competition. My favorite team is the Argentina soccer team. The Argentina soccer team is one of the most successful teams in the World Cup’s history, and there are many soccer stars in the Argentina soccer team.

First, The Argentina soccer team is really successful. In 1978 and 1986, the Argentina soccer team has won the World Cup two times. Moreover, They has won the Cope America fourteen times. Because all players are strong in strength. They own fast speed and strong explosive force. Of course, there are some super stars in the Argentina team.

The most famous one is Maradona who has became the coach of the Argentina soccer team. Maradona has been called a soccer god. He has a good control of the soccer competition depend on his speed. His “hand of God” was well-known. Besides Maradona, Messi is a new soccer star. He showed remarkable soccer talent in the 2006 World Cup. He became the most potential player rely on his perfect individual skill.

In the 2010 World Cup, I really don’t hope to hear the song “Don‘t cry for me Argentina” again.

new technology affects our life

In fact, more and more people communicate friends through technology, but some elderly people feel uncomfortable with communication online. Thus, we can find some advantages and disadvantages of the new communication technology: the new technology is convenience for our life; and we can make some new friends through internet; however, some people think communication online easy make misunderstanding.

First, the important advantage is the new communication technology make our daily life more easily. We need not spend too much time on face-to-face communication. For example, I’m living in the United States right now, but my family is living in China. However, we can communicate easily because of the computer. Moreover, we can see each other through the webcam. Though my family and I are separated by a long distance, we keep in touch with each other very well. Second, the new communication technology helps us to make some friends. Sometimes, I chat online and make friends whom I never met “in the flesh”. Also, I visit their blog or face book to understand the different cultures and customs. I think it is interesting because I can meet new friends from all of the world.

Although there are a lot of advantages of the new communication technology, some people it brings some disadvantages to our life. It makes a strange relationship between people. For example, a lot of elderly people prefer face-to- face communication to online communication because they don’t think communication online is truthful. If their children always communicate with them online, the elderly will be alone.

About my major

If let me choose a major, I will choose Computer Science. Computer Science involves many aspects of computer design, the creation of individual components for computer equipment, networking design, and integrating software options with the hardware that will drive the applications. There are three reasons why I want to choose this professional.

First, I’m interested in this professional. People are only engaged in what they are interested in, they are conscious to work and get high efficiency. I like to design program on computer. In my country, I had studied in university for 2 years. My major is mechanical automation, through computers control machine, we have to learn mechanical drafting, principle of automatic control, programming of C. Some of them are so boring, that needn’t you have creativity, just follow what you should have done. I felt my creativity was being strangled. But through this, I have found what I like to do. Though computer programming is difficult to learn, I will learn it hardly. Because I turn my creative for it. Therefore, findings on the links between the interest and professionals could give better play to their potential.

Second, it depends on my abilities. I think I’m good at mathematics and science. They are easier than economics for me. And these requirements are absolutely basic to learn computer engineer.

Third, it depends on personal character. For example, people who are introverted disposition choose to learn the marketing profession, it will pay several times more than the common people's efforts, and the results were not so good. I think my personality fits to learn computer engineer.

suicide

The increasing case of suicide has attracted the social attention. There are some common grounds between people who committed suicide. They are young people who experienced a fit of depression, and they didn’t get good education. Moreover, they all got unfair experience from the electronic company.

First, people who committed suicide are between eighteen and twenty-four years old. They are so young, and sometime they don’t have ability to bear depression. Moreover, the depression came from the company. The company advocates the employees worked overtime so that the employees who worked thirteen days just can rest one day, and they always need to work fourteen hours a day. However, the employees got a low wage.

Second, many employees don’t have good education. In order to earn more money, they move to urban centers from rural areas. So, when they have some unhappier experience, they don’t know how to solve them. In addition, the employees have less communication with each other because of lack of education and pressure of work so that the relationship between the employees is apathy.

Finally, the employees always get unfair experience from the company. I heard a news that the employees were always beaten by public security because of trifles. However, no one stopped violence.

I hope the suicide can stopped.
